Well, I myself, was a little disappointed with the movie. It seems all Steven wanted to do is capture our attention with shock, awe, chaos, and death. Meanwhile the story suffered, The only historically accurate scene was the beginning of Normandy, Omaha Beach. Even then, his minds portait of a group of 15 guys single handedly making it up the beach and dissarming the MG42's was a little dumb. The visuals no doubt were good, and there were ample scenes filled with fire-fights and "heroic" risks. 50/50, only for people who focus on action and not realism
